My Weight Loss Experience

Today, I'd like to share my weight loss experience. Seven years ago, my weight dropped from 84kg to 69kg. My main form of exercise was running at that time. Now my weight is back to 83kg, and I plan to lose weight again over the next three months.

Experience
First
As everyone knows, we must have a ability to stick to one thing for a long time. Of course,somtimes that ability requires a little push. For instance, when we want to pursue a girl,we might become more motivated, or when we scroll through the chinese Tiktok, we often see some really handsome men dancing very well, which inspires us to become as handsome as them.
Second
This is equally important: having a low-stress job is crucial. In china, it might be a little difficult for most people. If your job is too busy, you won't have time to do your exercise。Forcing your self to do so might even harm your health.

This is tired of to talk about eating. Portion control in your daily diet is key. At that time, I didn’t follow a strict diet, but I roughly halved my usual portion sizes. One important tip: since I ran at night, I always made sure to eat a light dinner—just enough to fuel my run without overeating, as running on an empty stomach would leave me too weak.
After running, I didn’t feel hungry immediately, but a few hours later, the hunger would kick in. For some, this might lead to sleepless nights, which ties into the second point: it’s best if your job isn’t too demanding.
Back then, I didn’t just drink water after running—I’d have something like plain milk or pure orange juice. This helped prevent extreme hunger, and while it might have slowed my progress slightly, the nutrients were great for recovery.

Finally, let me say this: during the weight loss process, you might reach a point where it’s hard to keep up with consistent exercise. When this happens, it’s a good idea to plan a solo trip for yourself. Why solo? First, traveling with someone else often leads to overeating and drinking. Second, trips usually involve walking over 20,000 steps a day, and when you’re alone, you don’t have to worry about others’ needs—you can rest and move at your own pace. That’s why I recommend starting in March—it’s the perfect time for travel!

Now, let's talk about some things to avoid. You must cut out milk tea and sugary drinks, especially for girls. Sometimes, even eating fried food is better than consuming sugar. Personally, I gained back over 160 pounds (or kilograms) over seven years, thanks to milk tea and other sugary drinks, including fruit tea. Similarly, 18 years ago, my weight gain was largely due to drinking too much Kangshifu iced tea.
After losing weight, you might notice that your skin doesn't look as smooth or youthful. Of course, this could just be my own experience, as I took staying up late and living an irregular lifestyle to the extreme.
