Wugong Mountain night-climb
Foreword
It has been a while since I go to climb. Wugong mountain is popular in recent years. It always is a destination in my plan of travel. In July, I got a ticket fortunately. The departure date is July 2nd, due to the arrival time is evening, so I decided to do a night-climb.
Thinking the summit might be cold, I brought a waterproof jacket just in case. Besides, I brought some necessary stuff, like sausage, water and whatnot.
Climb
Including train and bus, I took about 12 hours to the foot of the hill. it would be a hard challege to me. During the summer vacation, I saw a lot of college student, they reminded me of my experance that I climbed Taishan mountain when I was a college. Following their Foot, took me back to the youth.
It came as a surprise to me that it's such a long distance from the entrance to the ticket checkpoint. Combined with the hot weather ,the exertion left me out of breath.
The night walking route was marked by a red line on the map.
Arrived Hero Slope at 1:00, This was a hard section you need to conquer it without stopping.
Arrived at DiaoMaZhuang 2:00, there was a gorgeous starry sky I had ever seen
Kept going, I thought it was supposed to be a short distance at the end, but the path stretched on and on. It is very cold and windy during
Finally, I reached the summit at 4:00, I felt exhausted but proud, because I achieved a hard challenge for myself.
Sunrise
Sunrise would show up at about 5:30, which was long time to wait. The summit was wet and my hair was already soaked.
Luck was on myside, the dawn was chasing away the fog, I end up seeing a stunningly beautiful view.
Back
I choosed another route to down the mountain,which also had many gorgeous view.I was supposed to take cable care, but there were so many people that the queue was extremely long. so I decided to walk down to the second cable car point.
Conclusion
Although climbing is very tiring, but it's definitely worth it. Outdoor sprot can bring us a lot of pleaseure and allow us see many beautiful views. Most importantly, they can make us healthier. If you are in trouble or anxious, maybe you could try climbing or hiking to ralex yourself.
